Applied to airbrushed background. 8-7/8 x 11-3/8 inches (image); 15-1/2 x 20-1/2 inches, [Los Angeles: ca, 1941]. Matted, framed and glazed. With printed caption mounted to mat beneath the image, reading "Remember! Man Is Always the Master. No. 3 . 'How to Ride a Horse' Sequence from Walt Disney's 'Reluctant Dragon'", and with label of Courvoisier Galleries, San Francisco, on rear of frame. Fine.

INSCRIBED in the mat, lower right: "To James van Alen / My best wishes / Walt Disney", most probably in the hand of studio artist Floyd Gottfredson
